ITANAGAR | Apr 16 | The PHE&WS department would hold a two-day workshop on ‘Menstrual hygiene management’ in collaboration with Mumbai-based NGO – Red is the New Green – under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) involving Papum Pare ASHA workers and SBM(G) consultants here from tomorrow, according to CE (sanitation) Toko Jyoti.
This perhaps first such workshop on the subject hold significance as it would cover reproductive system-female & male, process of menstruation, menstruation management, hygiene measures, preparedness, safe disposal, problems faced during menstruation-pain in abdomen, heavy, delayed, irregular menses, anemia, white discharge, reproductive tract infections, conception etc. to help the feminine gender to overcome their common day-to-day problems besides a panel discussion and feed backs. PHE&WS Minister Bamang Felix will be attending as a special invitee.
